leaving tomorrow to go to the Dominican with my Mommy and Daddy (who I will miss WAY more then I’d like to admit…) and the scary thought is, the next time I will post something on here I will be in my dorm room in UNIVERSITY.

I was driving to Toronto with my parents today and there was this really cute guy driving beside us, so I kept making awkward eye contact and then he smiled and waved. it was awesome.

One of the most important things to remember is that you don’t need to bring your life to college. You have a limited amount of space that you’re probably sharing with another person. Keep it light, keep it neat. Your life now consists of dorms, classes, dining hall, and parties. You’re going to be seeing the same people every day and doing the same thing every day. Don’t let this list influence you to buy stuff that you’re not going to use, because the main thing here is saving money and downsizing. On the other hand, you’re going to be on your own for the first time and there are probably a lot of things you usually don’t have to think about (laundry supplies, dishes, extension cords, etc).

When people think about senses, I feel like they always forget to appreciate the sense of smell. I don’t know if it’s just me but when I smell something really specific it instantly brings me back to a memory like nothing else. I have this easter chapstick that screams grade 6…and then this cherry one that makes me go back to middle school dances. Or just the way certain people smell.
